Beef Cattle Nutrition Workshop
The Royal William, Cranham, Painswick, Gloucestershire, GL6 6TT
Wednesday 21 February, 10:30am – 2:00pm
Feeding management of beef cattle can be divided into the three main stages of rearing, growing and finishing. Each phase requires different ration specifications according to cattle type and target growth rates.
Join AHDB Beef & Lamb for this event where the different requirements of the growing and finishing stages of an animal’s life will be discussed, with the clear aim of meeting market specification and generating profit.
The event is kindly being hosted by Andrew Herring of Portway Farm who finishes roughly 1000 cattle per year. During the event there will be an opportunity to view Andrew’s system and assess current feeding management practices.
