TB testing & advice

Our whole vet team are Official Veterinarians (OVs) which means we are qualified to TB (Tuberculosis) test and some of our camelid team are experienced in skin testing alpacas and llamas and are able to do so on a voluntary basis or mandatory tests as required by APHA (animal plant and health agency). All our vets are comfortable blood sampling alpacas for private Enferplex testing for TB, which is the test we would recommend for private testing for example prior to selling or buying in animals.

Emily and Kit are TBAS (TB advisory service) advisors. All camelid owners in the TB high risk area of England are currently eligible to request two free visits (initial and follow-up) to discuss TB risks specific to your premises and animals and to come up with solutions of how to reduce them.
